The Clubhouse experience - the 3 things to learn for your business (1/3)

Who would have thought that a social media app like Clubhouse will teach us something as useful as LISTENING?

LISTENING, especially in business has become one of the rarest skills to be found. 

What does it include?

 

👂 you are LISTENING  as if you do not know that person, 

 ❓ as if you have no idea about the content, he/she may tell you, 

❤️ neutral without any of your known concepts or opinions, from the bottom of your heart

🔭 looking for what you might learn from it. 

Do you need more time to do that? 

No, you need only to bring back your curiosity which has been in you when you were a child. 

 

So are you interested in experiments, in the other person, eager to learn like a kid again? Then try to really LISTEN. 

In Clubhouse that is what you do - you are LISTENING to what other people are discussing 

👉 without knowing them

👉 without knowing what the concept of their discussion might be

👉 without knowing where it will lead you. 

 

AND with curiosity what will evolve, what will be there for you, to chimp it, to be on stage and share.

No - it is not about waiting politely until the other person has finished talking, already having in mind, what I want to say. 

It is not about comparing what is being said, with what I know. 

Nor that I am just checking what is new in my discussion partners words.
