That is how I became passionate about human- centric organizations.

I love people. During my first entrepreneurship at 22 I felt it very natural to involve my team in decision making. They got the competencies together with the full responsibility for customers.

When I started to work for companies, I chose subconsciously organizations, where I could live my way of leadership. The last company grew into a gigantic spreadsheet leadership style company. It cost me so much energy to work there. My engagement decreased.

Therefore I left. I started to work with organizations to transform.

One of my early projects

My purpose

Human-centric approaches are rewarding. I feel, live and breathe my passion.

My purpose is to change society through supporting transformation of companies to human-centric organizations.

In my 30 years of leadership I did realize early on that I am very passionate about business with people. When I ran my own restaurant at the age of 22, I did understand that I could not just use my power for leadership. I needed to have those 4 people working for me and  sharing my responsibilities. Only so we could grow our revenues, make customers come back and run the restaurant successfully. Over the years I had the pleasure of working with lots of very passionate and capable people in different leadership roles and own companies as well.

That is what I believe and live

Everybody has so much to give and contribute. Some need to get inspired to do so. Once they realize their potential they will follow that path. We are all so individual and at the same time, our true self wants to belong, to be loved and to love. Although many people think that is not part of the business world, it is. Neuroscience has shown in studies that our brain is a very emotional organ. Thus reacting to interactions. And interactions are an important part of doing business. Therefore I believe being aware of our emotions and reactions to them is so valuable. We can choose our interactions. It is our free will to decide to respect other people, to put ourselves in their shoes. And by the way, it is our choice to be happy.

What not everybody knows about me

I am a “hidden” introvert. When I am with people I love to observe, to listen and to feel without a desire to be talking.
And I need time by myself to re-energize.

My 2 months in Australia in 2014 showed me that living in the moment, deciding on the spot what to do and where to go, gives so much freedom.
In hindsight it has been an important time to understand that we decide how we want to feel.

I do like to paint. So far it only has been a couple of paintings. I have not dedicated enough time yet.
I see in my paintings how I have grown in personality.

  • Foundation, CHF 20 million budget, 240 employees, fundraising strategy with > CHF 1 million donations achieved (analysis workshop, strategy consulting)
  • 6 years of part-time support for non-profit organizations (strategy, concepts, business plans, marketing strategies and implementation)

    • Training Manager Switzerland (CHF 5 million, 10 employees)
    • Business Developer international (CHF 100 million, 30 virtual employees)
    • Communications and marketing executive worldwide with sales targets of around CHF 1 billion, including in the banking and insurance sector, 50 employees. Most recently, focus on digital transformation.
